'Maybe she has been colluding with the cops from the get-go. Cops are always corrupt, after all. She could always bribe them to do her bidding,' Matt swallowed his saliva hardly. He was so scared that his mind began to cloud with fear. 'She tricked me into saying crazy stuff when I asked for money. She also tricked my mother until she got arrested by the cops. What else does she have in her arsenal?'
