"We need to bring her back no matter what, Henry," Chloe said. "I've talked with Vernon over the phone, and he said he'll start dispatching all of his subordinates to find Kate and bring her back. We need your consent since you are Kate's boyfriend and Theo's father."

Henry stared at Chloe, who was fired up. She looked really determined to find Kate even though Henry hadn't asked her and Vernon to do so.
Unfortunately, that wasn't what he wanted.
"You don't need to do that. She left by her own accord. She won't be happy if we drag her back," Henry said.
"H—How could you say that, Henry? Kate is not in the right mind because of her baby!" Chloe insisted. "I have two children, and I know what she is experiencing. It's a mix of trauma and overprotectiveness. We need to bring her back and snap her out of it!"
