Seeing Eve's blank gaze, Nyla chuckled. "Ah, let me fully introduce myself. I am Nyla from the Human Empire."
"Human Empire…" Eve blinked. She could have introduced herself as a Duchess or... an Elementalist but she didn't. "I apologize, I did not think you were someone from the Human Empire. Since I arrived, I have never met humans in this Empire." Eve said. She was not exactly lying.
"I know… " Nyla looked around. Her eyes landed on where the Elves sat. "I heard you just married into the vamping kingdom.."
"Yes," Eve spoke. She was trying to act as if she was really clueless about this woman.
