The afternoon sun was blazing in the sky, casting harsh shadows on the sidewalk where Bai Lu and Xiao Mei stood face to face. Bai Lu clenched her teeth returning the slap with equal force, making her head snap to the side. Xiao Mei's eyes were wide with shock and pain, but Bai Lu was not done yet.
"Have you gone mad?" she yelled, squeezing Xiao Mei's hand tightly. "I'm the only one here who's supposed to do the hitting! After making my entire final year in high school miserable, you think I'll just let you get away with this? I got suspended because of you! You retard."
Taking a deep breath to calm herself down she continued "Just to let you know, I'm already cooperating with Li Na's lawyer, and one thing I can tell you is you're going to be in big trouble by the time they're done with you. And not even your parents can save you this time!"
She flung Xiao Mei's hand away, making her stagger back.
