Mineah felt so much relief at what she just heard from Tarah that she was frantically running back to Nikolai before she even knew what was happening. She was just so giddy that she couldn't even control herself anymore with how happy she was.
[Lai, come here,] she called her husband through their bond.
At her request, Nikolai appeared before her in a snap, catching her in his arms as he suddenly popped up behind her.
"You were running?" Nikolai asked as they practically twirled each other in the hallway with his arms currently wrapped around her waist.
Instead of replying, Mineah simply smiled seductively at him before instinctively snaking her arms around his neck.
"I have some good news," she told him with a smile. "Can you transport us to my bedchamber?"
Nikolai chuckled. "Right away, Mine."
