Hera Cruel.
A name that people would either praise or fear. A name that eventually turned into a status symbol for those under her wing. And a name she wished she never had. Because that name could give her anything: power, wealth, influence, hate, and unwanted love.
Anything but what she truly needed.
Hera stood in front of the sink counter, eyes on the phone that Tiger left.
"He's worried," was what he said before he left. "Give him a call when you're ready."
If Hera wanted to see Dominic or call him, she could, without anyone's help. But why hadn't she done so? Because even if hearing Dominic's voice was the only thing she wanted right now, she couldn't. Hera knew once she heard him or even just the sound of his breath, she would run to him like a dog, regardless of the mark on her back.
