Heaven followed Dominic's and Dane's figure with her gaze until her husband sat across the two businessmen. Dane sat at the table near them, not joining them, but was close enough to hear their discussion.
'Right.' Heaven sighed, feeling a little dejected. 'My husband is such a busy man. He probably moved his meeting here, so he couldn't flirt right now.'
Heaven glanced at Paula and Leo. They were still conversing, agreeing with something Heaven didn't care about.
"Alright. I'll text you then." Paula nodded at Leo before casting Heaven a look. "Heaven, I'm sorry. We're just talking about finalizing our meeting before the reading session. I didn't mean for you to feel left out."
"Oh." Leo was a little speechless, feeling slightly sorry if Heaven felt that way. "Sorry if that's what you feel."
