Elena pushed the door to the next room open. There she show three monsters. One that looked like the leader, was a devil or fiend with wings like bat and horns like a demon. It was something that this world's inhabitants will call a Legendary rank monster as it was level 375. The two other monsters with it were a lion headed demon and a goat headed demon. They were also barely Legendary rank at level 350. It didn't looked like the entrance to the third floor was here so this monster was not the final boss of this floor.
"This is getting tricky. I don't think the other adventurer will be able to handle the aura of an 400+ level monster. So fighting one is out of question. In that case having them with me will not serve any purpose anymore. They will not be able to fight anymore and learn anything new. Should I send them back?" Elena thought.
After thinking for some time she gave up on the idea. She had enough leisure to protect them from anything and even though they can't participate in any battle, just watching a high level battle will be beneficial for them. So she gave up on the idea of sending them back.
As she was thinking all these, her body was not still. She was having a bout with all three monsters at the same time. They actually had quite a good cooperation among them. The lionhead was a physical fighter, the goathead was a magic specialist and the devil have capability to use both magic and physical attack and fight on a quite good level. So with a frontline specialist, a backline specialist and an allrounder their party composition was very well made.
Elena had once again restricted herself at level 300 and beginner rank weapon mastery. In her last fight she was able to get quite a few enlightenments and now she was using them to get a greater understanding of that. As the level of all her opponents were 50-75 levels above her she was not able to gain any advantage even after fighting for four hours straight. She was not getting any more enlightenments so she decided to finish this fight and used only one Advanced weapon mastery skill from Advanced Axe Mastery {Mountain Severing Heavy Slash} and killed all of her opponents at once.
After that she went to the next room after taking a little break. The reason for break was not Elena's tiredness but to give other adventurers some time to digest the enlightenment they gained from watching her weapon techniques. It was not like watching someone stronger than you could always enlighten you. But Elena was fighting and demonstrating her techniques in such a way that it made getting enlightenment easier.
So, right after entering the third room, all the adventurer gasped in shocked. As Elena was covering all of them with her barrier, they can't feel the oppressive aura but just looking at the monster was enough to make them fell absolute fear.
There was a 100 meter long Dragon in that room. It was a western type dragon from Elena's home world and had the appearance of a winged lizard. It was pitch black in colour and the red slit pupils of this monstrosity were extremely terrifying. That monster was on the verge of reaching demigod at level 399 almost surpassing Legendary rank.
This time instead of fighting the monster with weapons Elena decided to use magic. She was mostly using various weapons because she already had a path of advancement for magic but doesn't have one for physical combat. But only giving demonstration to warriors and not helping the mages would hurt her consciousness so now she wanted to use magic for this battle.
She could see the stairs to the third floor behind the dragon and according to her calculations and plans, reaching the third floor in two days is right on schedule. The second day of the expedition was almost over and so she wanted to finish the day after reaching 3rd floor. So she decided to finish the demonstration within an hour. So, a very miserable fight for the majestic Dark Chaos Dragon started.
That dragon had very high magical defence so Elena was able to use her magic freely without worrying about hurting it too much. Obviously that was only possible because she once again restricted her level to 300. She started from the beginner "Tier Spells" and then moved on to advanced "Grade spells". And she finished off the dragon by using a Superior "Rank Spells". She had also chosen spells that can be used by most and have a very efficient structure leading to consume less mana to create stronger power.
After ending the demonstration and giving the spell structure to the mages Elena also gave them a detailed explanation of how those spells works. Then giving all of them some free time to digest the knowledge Elena spent some fun time talking with other female members of the expedition team.
She was able to know about a lot of new and interesting place, and get to hear some interesting rumors. All in all, she spent a very good time. About half an hour later they finally reached the third floor.
The eyes of all the adventurers got used to the red coloured world of second floor so they had quite a hard time to get used to the third floor as the whole place was blue. Blue sky, blue seas everywhere one can see. They all were standing on a rock about 50-60 meter in size. On all four sides, there was only sea. They can also see another piece of land in the distance. So, the third floor of the dungeon was an ocean floor.
Elena said- "We are all going to rest here for today. This floor actually also have a few A rank monsters in some islands and I will leave them to you all. They will be harder to beat than the previous floor as they can swim. But do you best tomorrow. I will be putting up a barrier so none of you have to worry about getting attacked while resting."
Elena then put up a barrier covering the whole rock and all the tired adventurers went to sleep. Elena haven't slept last day and even though she doesn't need sleep physically but still she likes to sleep. So in the meantime she also went for a little nap.
And that is how the Second day of the expedition came to an end.
