Patrick joined her and began to eat, occasionally staring at Avita. Avita ate her dinner while ignoring Patrick.
She has a lot to do, and staring at Patrick isn't going to get her work done.
Patrick tenderly grasped Avita's hands as she was going to do the dishes after breakfast and apologized, "Babe, I am very sorry for how I treated you. I should not have yelled at you or slapped you. Please forgive me for everything I did wrong!"
Avita returned Patrick's adoring stare and replied solemnly, "Since I am here, I forgive you, but please don't try that again. I'll definitely leave for good the next time."
"Don't worry," Patrick said cheerfully as he hugged her, “that's a blunder I'll never make again!"
He was not a moron. Will he be the one who suffers if she abandons him?
Avita was so thrilled to hear this that she kissed the man on the cheek before shoving him away.
