Aaron stood in the worn spot on the floor where Faye had for so many days of her existence inside this room at Wintershold, and like her, he hugged the bunny, petting it, and stared out the window, wondering what his next move was going to be.
There was an ear-splitting scream that pierced the silence, making Aaron flinch. He guessed the maid had begun to work on Allison's burns. He placed the bunny on the windowsill and left Faye's old room, closing the door and locking it up tight, protecting his little treasure.
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!! GAHHHH!!! DON'T TOUCH ME!!!!!"
Allison's agonizing screams could be heard echoing throughout the mansion each time Hildie tried cleaning her wounds. Aaron made his way back to his sister's room.
"Please don't…" She pushed the maid's hands away and panted. "Haa! Haa! d-d-don't touch m-me…" Her voice broke, and her lips quivered.
