Aaron swiftly shut and barred the door. He whipped around and glared daggers at Lena, snapping at her furiously. Aaron grabbed her firmly by her shoulder and cruelly dug his fingers into her flesh till she hissed in pain.
He chided tersely, "What took you so long to answer!" His eyes scanned every corner of her room, making sure no one else was present to witness their conversation.
He removed his hood. His glacial blue eyes riveted Lena to her spot. He inquired with a sneer. "Did you retrieve the item I asked for?"
"I—I…" she franticly searched her pockets and pulled out a small brown vial with a cork for the stopper. "Here; is this what you wanted?"
