Faye glanced over her shoulder and saw Sterling was watching her. He said nothing, just giving her a genial smile.
"Is everything okay?" She questioned with a knitted brow. She was gauging the Duke for a reaction to what he had seen.
"Everything is fine," he remarked cooly, nodding his approval. He waved her off with a swish of his hand, "Please carry on with your work."
Faye focused her attention on the little boy still bowing before her. She knelt down and gathered her slender arms around Henry, picking him up from the frozen ground.
"Come on, young man," her soft baby blue eyes connecting with his grateful gaze. "Let's get you back to bed. You need to rest."
Once she was sure Henry was safely tucked in, she instructed, "Mielle, please have the next patient brought here."
