Chereads / Master Bai! This Celestial Fox Spirit Is Asking For Divorce / Chapter 2 - Episode 1.2 Two-Faced Fox And A Black Hole

Chapter 2 - Episode 1.2 Two-Faced Fox And A Black Hole

The drunkard trembled under the overwhelming gaze of the youngster. What is happening? Why does he feel he is being sucked into an unknown vortex when he looks at this weak young man?

The intoxicated man remains still in his position, acting like he is nailed to the ground.

The youngster who had gone to fear saw his expression and only breathed a loud sigh.

'Just be thankful that I cannot kill you,' Suki whispered in his mind while retracting the claws that almost grew out earlier.

While fox spirits like him are not forbidden to kill a human while staying in the human realm, they are strictly regulated in doing one stupid thing, and it is exposing the existence of the spiritual beings like him to a major population.

The punishment was too severe, like, for example, the total annihilation of the soul.

If it's a matter of killing, then it is okay. But to do it in this huge crowd of people who are living in total normalcy, that is just asking himself to be punished by being higher than him.

"Brother Fox…" the little kid whined in front of him.

"Hiro, right? Are you okay?" Suki asked the child. Fine, he must admit that he is worried for the child.

Enough to set aside his broken phone, which foreshadows that he is about to go broke after this.

"Hmmm," the child nodded.

"Good," Suki gave a thumbs up to the child.

"Thank you for saving my son."

The boy's mother is trembling due to fright, but she managed to express her gratitude, which Suki casually accepted.

When everything seemed okay, someone once again made their obnoxious presence known.

"Hey," the intoxicated man called out. His face was glistening due to sweat.

'He really looks like a swine… Just how many fatty and oily foods did he consume to be this… shiny?' Suki thought in disgust.

If it's about vanity, fox spirits like him are the strictest, and as the most beautiful celestial fox who attained nine tails, it is only natural for him to be the harshest to anything that lacks good visual impact.

Suki didn't answer the man and only watched the drunkard bend to pick up his broken phone. He already bid goodbye to that, so Suki doesn't really care what will happen to that gadget.

It's already too late to cry over spent money.

The sound of the train gets louder.

Since their ride is about to arrive, he will let this drunken degenerate do his crazy thing one last time.

"You are one of them?"

Suki raised a brow at the crazy man.

"That arching of your eyebrows! You are f*cking gay!" He yelled wildly.

'What is wrong with this human? This extreme homophobia is abnormal!' Suki didn't hold back from showing his disdain for the man. His lips and nose are like crumpled tissue paper.

This is something that he never understands about humans, and he will never push himself to look from their point of view. He lived long enough as a celestial fox spirit, and he had seen a lot of craziness of human beings.

And this is just one of the examples.

"So what if I'm gay? At least I look good!"

Suki doesn't intend to take the man's reaction seriously and gloss over it, but the man's actions were meant to make it big until it blew out of proportion.

"Because of people like you! My son became gay because of you!"

"Oh, damn you! I can never understand how you came up with that idea!"

The next thing everyone knew, the middle-aged man bashed the battle of liquor to the young man's head and then used the broken phone to hit the latter in the face.

The little boy screamed, and the other frightened commuters ran away, intending to avoid the fight. There are also others who ran to help stop the violence.

But they are a beat late.

Everything happened so fast, even to Suki. Since his head was attacked, he became slightly confused, but he is still standing.

'My face!!' Suki cried in his head. He tried to cover it for protection, but then he remembered that he had a very common face.

'Okay, forget it,' he ultimately gave up.

But since the natural response of the human body to pain was to move away from the source of the pain, Suki unwittingly did just that.

He took a step back every time he received a hit.

Pain and the sound of the incoming train are the only things that he could make out in his current state.

'Damn, the downside of the human body!'

Suki wanted to retaliate but doing so will undoubtedly expose his identity and that would instantly destroy his soul.

'Ah, it seems like I would need to find a new vessel,' Suki thought. He is a bit reluctant to part with this body since he is currently working in an entertainment company with a good salary.

'It's bothersome but since we are heading this way, I don't have any choice, I guess I need to sleep around again in order to consolidate my next new body.'

While Suki is busy with his thoughts, he can also hear the ridiculous words of the middle-aged man who is heading to his ruin at a fast speed.

"You are the demon who tempted my son to go astray!"

The train is only a few meters away from them and every second, the madness in the man's eyes grew wilder and wilder.

"Die!" That is the final word that Suki heard after he felt a strong push to his body.

A loud bang was muffled by the speeding train but the cries and screams of the horrified bystander thundered.

Someone just died. Everybody was shaken.

Meanwhile, the little boy who was locked in a protective hug by his mother sneakily turned his head in the direction of the platform and yelled, "Brother Fox!"

Right after the destruction of his vessel- or death to make it sound more human, Suki ejected his spirit form out of the body.

He gracefully landed on the subway platform barefoot.

Suki in his spirit form is a tall young man with white and voluminous long hair. His nose bridge was exquisitely elevated giving a gentle aura to the other prominent features on his face such as his expressive danfeng eyes. Suki's irises are cold blue as if they were frozen into ice but the shine in his gaze gives off a fiery feeling to anyone who looks at him. The pair of white and soft-looking fox ears are perked up on top of his his head.

On the other hand, his white and fluffy nine tails, his pride as a celestial fox spirit, is flamboyantly spread out behind him.

The skin colour that he has is as white as snow.

This is the reason why he is prideful of his appearance. He is as beautiful as F. And as attractive as hell.

Slowly, Suki walked to where the little boy was. His long white robes that are adorned with white velvety fur around their edges danced as he moved.

"How do you do?" Suki's plump red lips smirked at the boy. "I look perfect right?"

"I'm fine, brother fox!" The child innocently answered. "Your body looks good!"

Meanwhile, the child's mother is crying and hugging the child tight.

"Yes, that kind brother is alright," she just answered sadly in order to retain his son's innocence. How can she tell her son that the kind older brother who saved him was now mangled by the train?

Suki knew the reason for this lie. For hundreds of years that he stayed here, he knew a thing or two about how human parents think when it comes to their children.

They would tell a bare-faced lie if that is what it takes to keep their children safe.

And this is what he admired.

It takes a lot for some people to say a lie because for them lying isn't honorable or good, just like this gentle and loving mother.

Well, whatever.

He is someone who doesn't care about good or bad, the only thing that matters to him is his interest, like reading BL.

Suki's blue eyes flashed a little and he lowered his body to reach for the boy's forehead.

"Brother Fox?"

Suki just smiled, "Sleep," and the boy slowly closed his eyes.

As a fox spirit, he doesn't have any powers that could alter someone's memory but since this one is a child. His power to cast illusions and control the dreams should be enough for him to move on

A faint white light flashed from his hand and it dimmed after the casting was done.

Suki ruffled the little boy's hair and spoke his last utterance, "Don't make your mother worry because of this and grow up as an adult who is responsible and cheerful."

After that, he moved away from the mother and son. He doesn't care about the fate of the degenerate who did him dirty but it would leave a bad taste in his mouth if he would let it pass.

Suki confidently struts towards the man who is currently being pushed down to the ground. He is hysterically yelling that he killed a gay demon.

"Well, he isn't far from the truth though. I am a "fudanshi" and a demon spirit in a much broader sense." He said nonchalantly.

"Since you are already this crazy, why not push it a little harder?" A dangerous smirk drew on his lips.

If earlier, he looked like an angel then now he is the devil.

Suki grabbed the head of the man, his disgusted face is evident. Thankfully, he is already in spirit form. The oils coming out from this swine don't touch his skin.

This time, from the pale and perfectly shaped hands of the celestial fox spirit, a black and ominous light came out.

"I will use my insanity inducement power on you and we will pump up your karma with countless nightmares of your greatest fear until the end of your life," Suki said as if he was uttering a curse. "Isn't that amazing?"

The man wailed like a crying banshee and he thrashed his body harder like he was being exercised.

None of the mortal human beings present knew what was happening. They all insinuated that the man has gone crazy.

Suki carelessly turned away from all this.

Since his head is now occupied with a new concern.

"Where can I get a new empty vessel? It's difficult to find a clinically dead body that perfectly fits me." Suki whined.

"It would be best if he's got a well-paying job. I need to raise my favorite author!" The nine-tailed celestial fox spirit bit his nail due to the pressure.

Ting! He heard a familiar sound.

"You are still alive?!" He incredulously looked at his battered phone that was used as an assault weapon. "Seems like 100,000 yen is a fitting price for you, huh? Too bad you are not fully paid."

Suki walked closer to it and there he saw a new notification. [Their S-Class Affairs has updated a new episode]

"Shoot! I need to find a new body! Gotta read it now!" The fudanshi fox spirit jumped excitedly into the air, ready to fly and search for his new vessel.

Unbeknownst to him, a black portal appeared over his broken phone.

A strong wind suddenly sucked him back to the ground.

"What the? Hell?" Suki stupidly uttered upon seeing a black hole that he had never seen.

Just like earlier, everything happened fast and he found himself sucked by the portal.

Suki's destination is unknown.
