The beast tide came in less than 48 hours and disappeared. Every town and village defended themselves with little to no effort. As for those that came to battle the beasts in order to gain experience.
They were disappointed. The prolonged battle they had in mind never happened.
However, people were not too surprised by the sudden retreat of the beasts. With their military strength and their bloodline power, they knew only a handful of powers could contest with them.
And the Monster Beast Race was slowly out of the equation. Previously, they were the Barren Land's nemesis, but now, they were nothing but training targets.
Inside the Celestial Heavenly Sect, the elders gathered with bright smiles on their faces. The battle came, and it was handled with little to no death toll.
Those that were injured came from the aerial beasts; still, they handled everything perfectly.
