Isabelle groaned and blinked awake as the carriage slowed to a stop. "Mmh...? Are we there...?" She looked around the carriage blearily at the pretty faces of her husbands.
Lyov gave a short nod. "The manor we'll be staying at tonight, yes."
The coachman outside opened the door of the carriage and helped them alight one by one, before heading around back to retrieve their baggage.
Octavian gave a little sigh as he stood on solid ground after such a long day's ride. "I'll never be used to traveling in coaches..."
Phoenix laughed. "Ah, I wince at the very thought of riding this far on horseback."
She stretched a bit as she got out of the carriage. "Mmmm...that sounds positively horrible."
Alex smirked. "It would be. Let's all agree to never attempt such a thing?"
She couldn't help a smirk of her own. "Gladly..."
