Phoenix, unabashed, lifted her hand, and pressed a kiss to the back of it. "You're so adorable when you're sulky and embarrassed."
She crossed her arms over her chest, puffing her cheeks. "Sex is not the answer to all life's problems, shut up."
"Well...maybe not all...but it is a lot of them, though? And the solution is quite fun, isn't it?"
She pressed her hands into his pretty face. "I'm ignoring you now."
His laugh was lovely.
But he was a demon.
A sexy demon, but still a devil.
He played with her fingers. "I love you."
"I loathe you." She glowered at him, but did not remove her hand from his cheek.
"Mmm, such a bad liar?~" He pecked her fingertip, his eyes bright with amusement.
Her heart did things that were embarrassing, and she was annoyed at its betrayal.
