Before Chase finished talking, Hazel took out a teaser from her handbag and fiercely poked it toward him.
Chase reacted quickly. Before the stun baton could touch him, he suddenly grabbed Hazel's hand and knocked it away.
"Ah!" Hazel was shocked. The teaser fell to the ground.
Chase's expression suddenly changed. The guilt he had just felt toward Hazel instantly turned into anger.
"Hazel, how dare you try to attack again with a teaser!," Chase said.
Hazel's teaser fell to the ground. She panicked even more and involuntarily retreated.
Chase was furious. He approached with a sinister expression, taking two steps closer to Hazel.
Hazel's heart was pounding with fear. She quickly ducked and slipped under Chase's arm before he could react.
Then, she gathered all her strength and ran toward the exit of the car park.
She really dared not be alone with Chase.
