I march down the steeps and wave to a group of spearmen. "With me, hurry."
They join me on the ground beneath the wall.
"What do you need, Miss?"
I nod sharply at the one who asked. "They don't show much intelligence, so if we put up a basic wall of spears on the ground we can cut down their numbers before they get to the walls."
I march out a few feet and drive a spear into the ground, facing out toward the horde. "Like this. Come on!"
The others rush out and start setting up the formation.
