"Really?" Xiang Ling was unable to contain her happiness as the man finally agreed to help her. Cupping his face between her palms, she added, "I knew you would help." And then, she placed a soft kiss on his cheek, shocking the very life out of Xin Cheng who was rooted on his spot with a stunned expression decorating his face.
"I will wait for the good news." She stated before she turned around and without another glance at the man, headed out of the room. A big smile of satisfaction was decorating her lips as she made her way out of the courtyard.
On the other hand, it took quite some time for Xin Cheng to collect himself together. Clearing his throat, he returned to his usual calm and cold persona. With a little click of his fingers, a man appeared inside the chamber out of thin air.
