Xiang Ling grabbed the man's hand and pressed her fingers over his wrist to check his pulse. His pulse was very weak because of all the blood loss and malnourishment. She even sensed the presence of spiritual energy within him, indicating that he wasn't a mortal.
Letting out a small sigh, she started working on taking off his clothes which were nothing more than a mess of torn fabrics. She needed them out of the way so that she could take a look at his wounds and treat them accordingly. However, as soon as she took off his waistbelt, a hand grabbed hers and stopped her.
"What are you doing?" She asked Dao Ming when she noticed that he was the one holding her hand.
"What do you mean by that question? I should be the one asking what you think you are doing?" Dao Ming demanded an answer in return of her question.
