The voice resonated from above suddenly.
Just as suddenly, a reddish hue took over the area and her crimson hair and body appeared from the ceiling.
"Are you going to appear this way every time? Randomly?"
"There's nothing random about it..." She floated down, spun in the air, and levitated. "You got me pretty heated up after all."
Her feet remained levitating a good seven inches above the blood-stained ground.
"Even Goddesses get into heat, huh?"
"You really can have a foul mouth."
"Sorry, I'm... In a strange mood."
"Huh." The Goddess scratched the back of her head. "Was that too much for you?"
"You're not the one sending the Hero to me. There's another God or Goddess."
"You're not formulating it as a question..." The Goddess chuckled. "Of course, I'm not the one sending him. I'm on your side after all."
