A few minutes later, Evan parked his black sedan on a dimly lit street in a middle-class residential area. The surroundings weren't bad, but at night, any poorly lit place in this city could be dangerous.
"Get out of the car," Zac ordered, causing Evan's breathing to become so agitated that it felt like he was going to have a heart attack at any moment.
"No, please, please don't do this," Evan begged, tears streaming from his eyes as he stared straight ahead.
