When he reached the roof of the building where most of The Moths' money and drugs were stored, Zac moved carefully so as not to be seen.
This wasn't the roof of a commercial building, but of a house that had originally been built for residential purposes. Even though it wasn't a residence, it had been built for that purpose.
Aware that anyone looking at the roof could see him, Zac moved quickly to one corner of the roof, where there was a metal hatch that allowed access to the roof for necessary maintenance.
He moved the hatch in front of him and soon came to a 2 meter metal ladder.
Attracting no one's attention with his movements, he descended, closed the hatch, and then climbed down the metal ladder.
When he reached the attic of the building, he found a dark place with lots of cobwebs, dust, and tiny insects. There were also a few rats in the area, an area basically used for ventilation and storage of the house's water tank.
