The Imperial Palace.
A yellow-clad Zuo Long was sitting upright in the Imperial Study. A young man dressed in embroidered robes was sitting below him.
This young man was particularly handsome with features that were soft and reserved. However, his eyes were like those of a venomous snake's and cause one to feel uncomfortable. A single look from him felt like a poisonous snake had entwined itself around one's neck, making it hard to breathe.
"Sir Yan, don't worry. We have summoned Huang'er and she should be making her way to the palace soon. You may take her away then."
The man addressed as Sir Yan nodded gently as his doleful eyes turned to look out of the study with a sense of impatience in his gaze.
Zuo Long looked anxious as well. He could not understand what that damned girl, Feng Qianhuan was doing. It was taking so long for her to come to the palace!
