Skylink Monarch's palace was built on a floating island in the sky. This island was elevated to the sky by the condensation of his immense spirit energy. Its surroundings were heavily guarded. Arrays and barriers had been combined to make a formidable defence.
Below this floating island, in the mountain range, Xuanyuan Mo Ze and Feng Jiu stood atop a peak. They looked up at the sky, and their released divine sense fell on the island obscured by clouds.
"At first, I thought his palace was underground. I didn't think it would be above us; sneaking in would be a bit troublesome." Feng Jiu said softly as she looked up at the clouds.
It would have been easy with their cultivation level to sneak in if the palace was below. However, it was located above and closely guarded in all four directions with no place to hide. They'd likely be discovered as soon as they made their move.
