Feng nodded. "We're indeed short of inscription masters. We have them now, but they're not capable enough. You can go to the Magical Equipment Division and see how they're doing if you want.
"With the token His Majesty gave you, they won't be able to stop you," the steward said. "But it would be great if you had an excuse."
Feng Wu asked, "An excuse?"
Feng nodded. "Isn't your godfather the general? He can write you a note."
Feng Wu smiled wryly. "He went to fight Xue Zhibei."
Feng nodded. "That's true. They do that every three days, and the battles go on and on."
Feng Wu asked curiously, "Why do they have to fight every three days?"
The steward smiled bitterly. "That's Xue Zhibei's request."
After some thought, the steward said to Feng Wu in all seriousness, "Your father is an amazing man. He's incredible."
