The empress dowager was furious. Everything Feng Wu said was like a needle poking at her. She wasn't behaving like a proper girl at all! However, the empress dowager felt guilty, for fear that Feng Wu would spill the beans.
After all, the empress dowager still cared about her reputation.
Hence, she glared at Emperor Wu. "You spoiled her. Teach her some discipline!"
Having said that, the empress dowager left in a hurry. She walked so fast that no one could tell how old she was.
As soon as Emperor Wu approached, the empress dowager scolded him before he could ask anything. He looked at Feng Wu in confusion.
Strangely enough, he had thought that the empress dowager would pick on Feng Wu this time, but she had left so soon. After all, she was the empress dowager. Maybe she had become soft-hearted.
