Feng Wu didn't have time to chat with the empress dowager, for she still had something very important to tell Emperor Wu.
The empress dowager was furious as she watched Feng Wu leave.
"She left just like that?!"
"I'm her future grandmother! Is that how she treats me?!
"Look at the look on her face. She's so eager to leave that she doesn't want to talk to me anymore! She's so capable now!"
Granny Lan sighed. Why did the empress dowager have to say such mean things? She had changed her opinion of Miss Feng Wu and even said that she would agree to her marriage with the crown prince, but the words coming out of her mouth felt like daggers…
Meanwhile, the empress dowager was equally frustrated. She smacked her own mouth and wondered why she could be so mean. She decided that she would show Feng Wu some respect the next time the girl came to court.
