"Why do you look so pale?" Luo Zilin looked at Feng Wu in bewilderment.
Feng Wu didn't try to keep it from him. "Someone tried to assassinate me on my way back from the Red Feather Room."
Luo Zilin's face darkened a little. "Are you hurt?"
Feng Wu shook her head. "Don't worry. I'm fine. That person failed."
Only then did Luo Zilin let out a breath of relief. "I'm so glad to see that you're alright! But who was it? Why would they try to kill you at such a critical moment?"
Feng Wu shook her head. "That man took the poison and turned it into a pool of blood. His clothes are gone as well. There's really nothing left of him."
What Feng Wu didn't tell Luo Zilin was that if someone hadn't saved her in secret, she would have been dead by now.
