Sima You Yue, Wu Lingyu and Qin Qin sat in a room on the highest floor of Knavery Pavilion. They chatted as they ate and watched Nai He and Mo Yu chasing after each other from the window.
"I really am envious of you. You've gone to so many places." Qin Qin said with jealousy, "I've wasted so many years in the Abyss of Hell."
"You're not from the Ghost Clan." Sima You Yue said.
"I'm not. I am the descendent of two humans." Qin Qin said, "The descendent of two humans who went back on their oaths. For someone with an identity like mine, who wouldn't disdain me? Who wouldn't say that I'm genetically modified?"
"The people here don't know about things like genetic modification. Sima You Yue swirled the wine glass in her hand, "There are few humans who are able to survive in the Abyss of Hell. Even rarer so to have both parents who are able to. To be a human born in the Abyss of Hell… you're probably the first one."
