Halcyon nodded as he formed a seal with both hands. As his hands moved, he started to isolate all the yellow-sand beasts.
Those yellow-sand beasts did not breathe to begin with, so although they had been isolated, they did not die immediately. They were merely being controlled and restricted, so they could not move.
Sima You Yue saw that they didn't die even though Halcyon had isolated them. She sat her butt on the ground and gasped, "These spirit beasts aren't alive and never die. Even isolating them is useless. I have to think of a way, sigh."
Halcyon had to use his spirit energy to continue to do this. There was no way he could isolate them forever. She had to think of another way.
