Raymond came out of the bath and saw her lying on the bed on her stomach, her legs crossed up and he could hear that she was talking on her phone with someone.
"No, don't go for that one. What's wrong with you. You pick dresses for me like a ninja and when it comes to you, your choices are so damn lousy".
"Yeah, that one is fine. How can you even pick a neon one dude?"
Raymond smirked as he heard the brother-sister duo bickering over petty mundane things. Akira was helping her baby brother pack his bag over a video call and literally screaming in and out. That's how he wanted his life to be. Sweet, homely, simple yet overflowing with love.
He changed into his office clothes and came close to her and held her feet and kissed them.
She knew it was him so she cut her call short and turned back towards him.
"Ready for office?"
"Go quickly and get dressed. I will make something for you to eat. You must be hungry after all", he said and smirked.
