"You're here again? Did you find anything useful this time,'' she asks me as she makes way for me to enter her house. I walk in because I have never been this determined in my life. Seeing Jabi and being able to feel him was all the courage I needed.
It was the one thing that gave me the strength that I have to keep fighting, to keep hoping and knowing that he is okay, even though he is somewhere out there, is everything.
"Use me, I will be the map,'' I walk into the living room and she follows me.
Her brows furrow in confusion "I have never used a person before. It is not possible,'' she shakes her head in refusal.
"Listen to me, I will be the map," I say with absolute conviction.
"You will be the map," she says with a slight smile, as she looks at me through those brown eyes.
"I will be the map," I say again, this time with more confidence.
She nods, as she looks at me thoughtfully.
