"Umm... frankly speaking I'm not sure about the reason but if I'm not wrong, I fell into a pit and became unconscious but when I opened my eyes I was here," Jessica said slowly and seriously while putting the last piece of meat in her mouth. She glanced and saw Levi pondering on something seriously while Ell was still playing with her hairs smilingly.
Blaze suddenly came to her side and sat down on his knees in front of her and with a shook suddenly two white cat ears popped out of his head. A black and white tail rose from his back and his round pupils turned vertical looking like a feral beast's.
He looked at Jessica's shocked face and smiled showing his canines.
Jessica was shocked by the sudden transformation and before she could say something she heard Blaze talking.
"Aah~ Finally!.... it's reliving like this". He said while grabbing Jessica's hands.
"This... this... this.."She started stuttering before completing her sentence.
" We are beastmen and every male in this continent is an orc," said Levi after seeing her frightened face which further confirmed that she was not from there.
Jessica who was just trying to understand his words saw a green light enveloping Blaze and he suddenly turned into a white tiger which was triple the size of a normal tiger.
Jessica who was just about to jump in fear saw Blaze licking her hands like a cat, he suddenly approached her and rubbed his head on his arms. Jessica was astonished by his behavior, he was behaving just like a harmless cat in front of her which gave her some confidence so she carefully lifted her hand to cares his head.
Her sudden touch surprised Blaze, he suddenly felt his heart-melting so he arched his head toward her waist and started rubbing it.
Jessica giggled and said while pushing his head " Blaze stop it! it's ticklish". Hearing her words he retracted his head and looked at her face like an innocent cat tilting his head, he moved forward and licked her face.
Seeing his reaction she smiled and thought that maybe she came to a completely different place through a portal because in her memories there wasn't any manhole on the path she walked.
The appearance of a portal wasn't something she hadn't heard of, there were many cases of transmigration available on the internet and this was something that always fascinated her but she had never thought that one day she'll be transmigrated to a completely different place where something like animal morphing was common.
Jessica who was an animal lover saw Blaze's actions and suddenly felt calm in her heart, so she actively started rubbing her hands behind his ears and neck which made him do purring. Both of them played their rubbing game for several minutes and in the end, it removed the slightest fear in her head because she realized that even in his beast form he could listen and understand her words perfectly.
"Zzzz,Zzzzz,Zzzzz" suddenly a strong vibration came from her purse beside her which made all three males scared and they took a protective posture. Ell quickly pulled Jessica into his arms and looked at the purse with killing intent.
It was the same reaction for all.
When Jessica heard the familiar sound she tapped Ell's shoulder and said " It's not something dangerous, calm down" and moved out of his arms.
Before he could react he saw her holding the purse and opening its chain, from which she suddenly pulled her smartphone that was vibrating.
Jessica was awestruck when she saw it was her afternoon tea alarm because it was clearly night outside so she switched off the alarm and ran outside the cave. When all three men saw her sudden action they followed her.
She reached the cave's entrance and became dumbfounded when she saw three moons of different sizes and colors in the starry sky, instead of transmigrating to a faraway place she came to a completely different planet. From her alarm, she got the idea that she was in a completely different timezone but being on a completely different planet was something she couldn't digest right away.
One way she was thrilled because it was just like one of her childhood dreams coming true while she was worried about her way back home. She may live alone but that doesn't mean she didn't have a family, she has her mother, her maternal grandparents, her elder brother, sister-in-law, her niece, and a nephew.
She lives alone because of her work but she cared the most about her family.
Levi, Blaze, and Ell were standing just behind her, they thought that she was trying to run away but surprisingly she halted at the entrance and looked at the sky, all three of them gave each other glances and were ready to grab her the moment she tries to run. But to their surprise, she turned around and went back inside the cave. She picked up the white fur shawl, wrapped it around herself, and sat on the stone bench. She looked at them and said "Can you tell me more about this place?" with a smile.
All three suddenly smiled at her words and said in unison "Sure!". They all sat down in front of her on the ground and looked at her face smilingly, Levi started explaining to her about the beast continent.
After listening to his explanation Jessica understood a lot. She got to know that this place was called the beast continent consisting of different areas like a dark forest, burning desert, snow-capped mountains, poisonous swamps, floating islands, and orc forest. Most of the Continent's population lives in orc forest while she was in the dark forest. All the inhabitants were beastmen whom they usually called males and females. All the males were divided into different races according to their beast form whereas the females who were originally quite a few in a number can't change into any beast form.
From Levi, she also got to know that Females hold a very important position in this world because of their scarcity. For hundred males there was a single female due to which polyandry relationships were promoted.
" Seriously? Females can have multiple partners?" Jessica asked curiously.
"Yes, and on an average, a female at least has ten to twelve partners. Jessica don't you have any partner?" replied Blaze to her question.
" No, I don't have any partner because the relationship doesn't work like this in our world" answered Jessica half laughingly.
"Not even one! " suddenly asked Ell with a shocked face.
" In our world, we can only have a single partner so. Yes, Not even one" She replied smilingly at the boy with gleaming eyes.
