"Is that so?" Lin Yutian walked past Mother Lin and onto the balcony. She stared at the departing woman's back view, and the corners of her lips curled up into a strange smile.
The woman behind her asked again, "B-Baby Tian, are you hungry? Mother will cook for you." Mother Lin's eyes were filled with fear and trepidation as she looked at the young girl. Her attitude didn't seem like she was facing her beloved daughter, but more like she was facing an unknown monster.
