Chapter 13 - Princess of Heavenly Entertainment

After the strenuous activities with her husband, Isabelle sat staring at the ceiling. She gazed at her body, which was covered in several of his markings, but she was too fatigued to even move a finger. She groaned and clicked her tongue.

Isabelle was annoyed by her husband's dominance in bed, but she had to put up with it since she needed him to carry out their plans effectively—especially after she asked him for a favor about the old man.

She grinned and stood up to put on her robe, saying, "I still need you as a chess piece, Theo." At her daughter's call, she walked outside.

As Isabelle called out, a woman's quiet, worn-out voice replied. "Hey mum, what do you need? It's three in the morning, "Elizabeth whimpered.

Isabelle was furious and exclaimed, "Where are you Elizabeth, I thought you were here for a movie premiere, but where the heck are you, are you with him again?" she disregarded her daughter's whimpering comments and spoke.

She feels anxious when she hears her daughter's tattered voice. She was already aware of the explanation for her daughter's two-day phone silence. She must have been back with her male plaything.

The woman on the other line looked at the naked man who was clutching her naked body from behind; they are both fatigued after they satisfied their carnal urges. "What do you mean Mom? I'm in my room," she said.

"Stop it Elizabeth, I know you are with that idiotic man of yours. If your father finds out about this, what would he say to you? Tsk"

She chuckled jokingly at her mother, "Mum I'm not stupid that I'll let him find my hobbies."

She hissed in annoyance, "Stop asking me so many questions mom, and answer me, why did you call? I thought we were going home in two days. And just to be clear, he's one of my co-actors and not some boy toy."

Elizabeth Foyer La Roche, the youngest child born to Themoteo La Roche and Isabelle Foyer, followed in her mother's footsteps in terms of her career, gravitating toward the entertainment industry.

She was well-known in both Western and Asian nations. Elizabeth was quickly accepted by the majority of well-known businesses for endorsement and by entertainment producers thanks to her mother's support. She was also referred to as the "Divine Princess" in the entertainment industry, which fit the innocent and kind person that she consistently exhibits on film and which most of her admirers adore. Elizabeth, however, had an explicit conduct that only her mother was aware of.

"The plan failed, the old man is now much closer to your sister, and her relationship with her fiancé appears to be going well," Isabelle said as she massaged her temple in defeat.

Inquisitively, Elizabeth paused during the news to say, "So she is being married? And she accepted without arguing with the old man? That's unusual."

"Indeed, Eli, and we all knew the old guy doesn't like you. If this keeps on, my dream of you becoming the sole heiress of La Roche is beyond impossibility. You must win the old man around"

She smirked and said, "Mom, stop being so paranoid! Leave the old man to me, no one escapes my charms, and concerning my sister, let her marry that commoner and damage her standing. We have to spread reports about how arrogant she is and how she humiliates her husband in society."

"You always made me proud, sweetie, and make sure you'll be ready for the banquet that your father is planning for you", Isabelle giggled at her daughter's way of thinking.

"Let the world realize that I'm the only candidate for the title of the heiress of La Roche, you know how much I enjoy it, Mum."

"Indeed, sweetie, nobody would take it away from you because it is entirely yours."

She gushed, "Thanks, Mom, you're the best!" in response.

As her smile extended to her ears, Isabelle hung up the phone. She is eager to witness the family La Roche's demise.

She smiles menacingly, "I will take everything from you, Cassandra."

Thea returns to the Mansion, blissfully, as the thought of her taking advantage of Erick's innocence crossed her mind. She recalled the snatched kiss, and Thea couldn't help but squeal with delight.

But when she entered the mansion, she frowned seeing her grandfather gracefully having his tea on the terrace, exposing himself to the chilly wind.

"Grandpa you're still awake, it's freezing out here, you should not stay here longer, otherwise you could develop a cold" Thea remarked with concern to her grandfather.

Thomas the Elder grinned at Thea's kind treatment. Come have some tea with me, dear. I want to unwind and we should talk about your father.

Thea raised an eyebrow, but she almost didn't notice her father's absence since she was so focused on Erick's needs that she didn't notice his absence during her engagement.

She sat down across from old man Thomas and nodded in response to her grandpa's request.

She worriedly enquired, "What about father, Grandpa, is there something happening to them over there?"

She crossed her knees and cast an inquisitive glance at her grandfather.

Thea was concerned about them because she hadn't yet met them in her second life. Her worry increased when she noticed her grandfather's dejected expression. She is just beginning to work toward making up for all her past errors, and she doesn't want anything negative to occur to them.

"Dear, nothing happened that should worry you; instead, I would want to apologize on behalf of my son for abandoning his responsibility as a father on this memorable occasion."

"Grandpa, you don't have to apologize for his absence; it's not your fault that he isn't here. I'm used to this sort of treatment of father, and I don't want you to feel obligated over his actions, and I'm sure father has a valid reason"

Thea stated honestly as she grasped her grandfather's hands.

She smiled sweetly at her grandfather and said, "Moreover, today's event went well, and I enjoy the private time the three of us shared earlier."

Thea is incredibly grateful for today as she spends time with Erick and her grandfather.

"He should be by your side, but I don't know what goes through your dumb father's mind that he approved the last-minute request of her wife to travel abroad, " Old Man Thomas grumbled in displeasure.

"I'm delighted you accepted the situation maturely, Thea. But please don't defend your dumb father to me or my blood pressure will grow considerably," he hissed at her as he turned to face Thea and grinned.

As her grandfather said something, Thea laughed. She stepped up and gave her grandfather a big hug, saying, "You and Erick are the most important men in my life," which made the elderly man smile. "Alright, grandpa. You don't have to worry about me anymore."

Old Thomas apologized by clearing his throat. He was overjoyed to hear his granddaughter express her affection for him for the first time.

Grandpa Thomas patted the hand that hugged him and murmured "I should be your first favorite, not Erick, Thea" he whimpered at her like a stubborn child.

Thea laughed in response to her grandfather's antics and said, "Grandpa, of course, you're number one." Old Man Thomas grinned like a child.
