Mu Siyin tried to hold back her tears as she looked at Lu Jingchen with a frown on her forehead. "Is there really no one else, Cuz?"
He lifted an eyebrow and shook his head gently. "There's none for now. I've already reached out to those I can think of."
Upon hearing this, she became annoyed. "What's the matter with President Zhang? Does he still hold a grudge against me for standing him up? Is that why he's playing us like this?"
Lu Jingchen frowned again. "I don't think so. I know President Zhang very well. Something urgent must have come up."
Disappointment washed over her face. "What do we do now?"
He felt guilty for not being able to help her. He quickly answered, "Let me go around later at night to see if anyone is interested. After all, your conditions are rather favorable."
