Even though Xia Zhetao grumbled a lot, he kept all this to himself. He knew how and when he should behave himself and so, he did not speak up. It was a suicidal act if he were to provoke Mu Tingfeng at that moment.
After paying the money, Xia Zhetao walked the majestic Tibetan Mastiff and followed Mu Tingfeng closely. As soon as they stepped out of the pet shop, he caught a glimpse of a dark shadow in front of him from the corner of his eyes.
Xia Zhetao braked in a panic. He stopped a step away from the place where Mu Tingfeng had paused. Then, he hurriedly took two steps back.
