Mr. Suarez spent 2 weeks in China before leaving back to his country. Before he left, he had asked Alix when she planned to return home.
"My child is too young and I am too weak. Let him grow up a little and let me rest up a bit before coming back to face your family who might plan to get rid of him." Alix had replied without soaring him a glance.
"But I told you the house is safe now, nobody will attack you or the child again." Mr. Suarez replied.
Alix was not willing to hear that. Whether his family would attack her child or not, she didn't want to go back to that place again. She wanted to remain in China.
"That's what you said to me before but look how it turned out..." Alix replied and at last, Mr. Suarez had no choice but to let her stay for a while.
