Fu Juan wasn't moved, maybe because of the confidence she had at that time. Instead of forgetting or feeling scared, she rolled her eyes and took a step backward to say, "How boring can you get? Do you think you can come up with anything that would scare me?"
"Do you think I'm jobless and can come up with trash just to scare you, why don't we try it?" He suggested with a smiling gaze on her.
He was starting to find things funny. Gazing at her and seeing how confident she looked as if she was innocent, he couldn't help but laugh.
It would have been very interesting and more fun to pull down that mask in front of everybody, but he just couldn't do that, because he needed to make a trade with her, since that divorce was important to him. And that is one of the reasons he wasn't troubled about whether he could get the divorce from bed.
