The difference lies with the creature's mana receptors.
The composition and nature of the mana receptors vary from race to race, constitution to constitution. Even mixed races had identifiable mana receptors.
But there was no account in the entire history of Prasinos about a creature possessing two different types of mana receptors! Just what the hell are these creatures?
