"You two are just being unreasonable. What so bad about him?" he asked as he glanced back at Qie Xieling whose face was illuminated by the street lights outside.
"He is annoying and the teachers like him," said Qie Xieling. He didn't want to be anywhere near someone the teachers liked because that meant he would be caught easily when he was up to no good.
"How about you? What is your reason for disliking him?" said Wen Qinxi asking his husband why he was so resistant to this friendship.
"He is too much of a goodie too shoes," he said with a light chuckle but in truth, it was because that kid looked at Qie Xieling the same way he used to look at Wen Qinxi in high school.
