"Wait..." Angel stopped them before they could take a second step afar from the table.
Evelyn frowned her forehead in anticipation, probably wondering what she wanted to say now. Apologize again? What was even the point of doing so? If she was always going to say something negative afterward.
"What mom? I am done with this behavior of yours. I am done with you apologizing and then doing the same thing over and over." Evelyn blurted out her anger and frustration about the entire situation as mom wrapped her head with her hands.
"You're right, I am sorry again. I didn't mean to call you out in front of everyone and I had to invite you. You have all the reasons to be mad at me because I deserve it." She sighed gazing at her pleasing for forgiveness once again.
