Still thrashing against his hold as a sliver of the Otherworld began to take shape behind the Fairy Lord. Aribelle dung her heels into the ground beneath her. She refused to go through all of the effort and suffering of leaving those she loved behind to embark on her mission, just to be snatched by her own grandfather before it had even begun.
Aribelle's desire inspiring the spontaneous aid of a few vines. They twisted around her ankles, helping to fix her in place. Her obstinance angering the Fairy Lord, he violently yanked her forwards. A few of the vines snapping from the force, Aribelle's body lurched but her feet did not move. Gritting her teeth, Aribelle yelled in protestation, "I'll die if you make me go there!"
The threat interpreted by the man to be empty, he merely tightened his grip on her. Provoking a sharp pain in Aribelle's wrist, she winced as he chided, "Please child, stop with your exaggerations and be reasonable."
