The subtle clink of jars and bowls heard next to her, Aribelle's eyes fluttered open slowly. Squinting into the dim light of the room, she was barely able to discern Justine's figure as she slipped out of the room. Cradling the materials required for their care in her arms, the woman did not notice Aribelle awaken, nor was her friend present to hear the small aggravated moan which escaped her.
