The ceiling constructed of countless glass panes, the warm rays of the sun streamed in from high in the midday sky. However, none of its light could reach the ladies within the conservatory. Hidden beneath their parasols as they flitted between their conversations as easily as a bee might hop from each blossoming bud to collect its sweet nectar. The artificial garden, devoid of any actual insects, the hum of their discussions was the closest thing to a buzz that could be heard within the diverse array of foliage.
