"Aren't we going to talk to Lilly?" 

Tiffany went directly to Susan's house after she read the content of the contract that she accidentally stumbled upon at her father's office. She can't show or tell anyone about it because it would put her father in a difficult situation. 

"I'd probably just send her a message or something," she replied without looking at Tiffany. "My parents finally got divorced. They pulled the knife that they had been stabbing each other's back for so many years," she sighed. 

"I just wish they waited until the time that my younger siblings got a little older or not now that I'm moving to college and can't be there for them." She stopped what she was doing and dropped herself to the edge of her queen-size bed. "Sorry to say but I don't have the energy to talk to Lilly right now. I'm already overwhelmed with my own problems that are keeping me emotionally drained." 

"So you're leaving for college without talking to her?"
