I ran on the track after academy hours as Orishi watched and timed me. I passed by Orishi and she clicked a button then I stopped. I panted and bend down, holding my knees. I stood up straight and looked at Orishi. I walked over to her.
"You've gotten faster. You seem to have a clear motivation. It's nice to have our Hisumi back." Orishi smiled.
"After that talk a few hours ago with Yusa, I finally know what I need to do. I'm ready to do anything now." I smiled at Orishi.
"Oh, that's good because we got an errand we want you to run with Saito and Liao Ru tomorrow. You're going to the cafe in Yahoma to do some recon. I want you to get used to the recon business. The A Rankers have been seeing more Midnight Corps in Yahoma and there is a certain someone from the Midnight Corps that they are worried about...A certain Veteran from the Monster Era of Earth. She's a powerful one with a powerful battlesuit that wields a different kind of energy." Orishi said.
"Monster Era? Was I alive during this time?" I asked.
"Yeah, but you were with Judgement at this time. Us Valkyrias weren't really able to join the cause at the time either but an old organization by the name of MPT, or Monster Protection Team, used to be stationed at Yahoma. They seemed to be in a predicament. The woman who is in the MC lost her son to the Monsters, but there isn't anything she can do. She's now fighting with MC to stop Judgement with a group of friends and I actually would go, but I'm sure there would be conflict between me and a certain woman." Orishi said then took out her cigarette box then I took it.
"You've smoke enough cancer sticks today. I'll go, but you're coming with us." I said.
"Mmmm...." Orishi sighed then looked away. "Fine, but don't blame me for anything that transpires."
I smiled and put her pack of cigarettes in my pocket. "Good! Well, I'll see you tomorrow teach!" I marched off and hummed.
Orishi closed her eyes then took out another pack of cigarettes and smiled. She took out a cigarette then placed it in her mouth then lit it. "Hopefully things go smoothly, but I wonder what scares them so much."
I walked back into my dorm and was greeted with Kikyo, Yumeji, and Saito watching anime together on the couch. Kikyo was hugging a pillow and was really invested. Yumeji looked at me and smiled at me.
"Welcome home, finally." Yumeji smiled.
"Mmm...hey...Hisumi.." Kikyo waved at me, still focused on the anime.
Saito looked at me and nodded. "It is nice to see you, roommate."
"Roommate?" I asked then threw the pack of cigarettes in the garbage. I walked towards the couch and sat down next to Saito.
"Saito moved in with us. Yumi was her old roommate and since she was actually a spy, Saito decided to move in with us. You two will be sharing a room." Yumeji smiled. "Just a couple of gals who are pals. Oh what are you all up to next weekend?"
"Nothing really." I answered.
"Saito has nothing planned." Saito said.
"Mmm.." Kikyo mumbled a bit.
"We should all go to the mall next weekend. Also we have a School Battle coming up with another academy, you should join Hisumi!" Yumeji said excitedly.
"I...guess? I mean I don't know how that will help anything, but it seems like a good way to pass the time I guess." I shrugged and smiled.
"Then it's settled." Yumeji smiled.
I nodded then looked at the TV and we all watched an entire series until 10 PM hit. I got up and got ready for bed. I took a shower then put on my pajamas. I walked out of the bathroom and into my room then noticed Saito already in bed. I got under the covers as well and noticed Saito looking at me.
"Why are you staring at me..?" I asked softly.
"Saito's never shared a bed or room with anyone since the day Saito's creator was killed. It feels...weird." Saito said, still looking at me.
I covered her eyes, blushing a bit. "Well I can't sleep when your eyes are piercing through my soul."
I took my hand from her eyes and noticed her open her eyes. I looked at her and noticed a button in the middle of her chest. Saito noticed me staring at her chest, specifically the button.
"That is Saito's button to open her chest area in case Saito needs repairs. Orishi and Weiss takes care of all of the upgrades and repairs. My breasts aren't like humans, but they do have the same textures as a human...as well as my vagina. I may not be able to reproduce, but I can be stimulated like any other human." Saito said.
"And why did I need to know that?" I asked.
"Sorry." Saito said then closed her eyes. "Just thought you wanted to know."
I looked at Saito then poked her breasts. I was a bit surprised on how soft they were. I blushed at my own action then closed my eyes. "Good night." I turned around and kept my eyes closed.
"Good night. Entering resting mode." Saito said then fell asleep nearly immediately.
I fell sleep right after she went to sleep;
The next day came up and I was ready for the day. Saito was also ready for the day and we left the dormitory to meet up with Orishi and Liao Ru at the academy.
We made it to the Academy and I Orishi and Liao in some very cute casual wear. Orishi wore a red tank top with a white sweater over it and booty shorts with brown boots while Liao wore a green sleeveless shirt and white ripped jeans and white shoes.
"Ready for the cafe, ladies?" Orishi asked.
"Saito is ready." Saito nodded.
"I am also ready." I crossed my arms and looked at Liao and Orishi.
She nodded and we walked to the train station together. We followed Orishi since she was using her map to find it. We found the train station then got on and rode our way to Yahoma. Liao sat next to Orishi, reading a manga she picked up at the bookstore. Orishi looked out the window, smoking a cigarette like she always does. Saito sat next to me and wanted me to download a game on my phone that we could play together. I downloaded it and she helped me get started.
After a 30 minute ride, we finally made it to Yahoma. It was a huge city and the streets were bustling with people. It wasn't as big or famous as places like New Tokyo and Old Entari, but it had to have been the third most popular city in all of Japan.
"Wow, this place seems kinda nice." I said and looked around as I walked with Orishi and the others.
"You wouldn't believe this place used to be a natural battlefield back when the Monsters were raging about. Things have changed since he went to a different Realm entirely seems like all the trouble followed him there, but it also was an opening opportunity for Judgement to strike." Orishi said.
"May...I..ah...request...location?" Liao asked.
"Sure where do you want to go?" Orishi asked.
"That shop...Ah..Neko Neko Teatime. It's the most...famous...uhm.." Liao was struggling to find the words she wanted to say. It's going to take her a while to get English down to a tee.
"I understand what you mean. Let's go to that cafe then. Since it's a famous attraction of Yahoma then our targets may go there as well." Orishi said.
We nodded and followed her to the cafe and walked inside.
"Welcome to Neko Neko Teatime, Meow-stresses! What would you like? To go or to stay?" A cat girl with white hair, ears, and tail said in a cutesy way.
"A table for four please." Orishi smiled.
"Right this way!" The cat girl said as she led us to the table. We sat down and she handed us menus. "My name is Miki and I'll be your maid for the day! Would you like to get started with something to drink?"
"Four orange juices should be fine for right now." Orishi said.
"Right! I'll be back in a split!" Miki hurried off and smiled.
Neko Neko Teatime, I've definitely heard of this place in the past. It was all over the papers and news of how this business just blew up and is now one of the greatest cafes worldwide. Saito looked around and scanned everyone with her bionic eye, collecting data on each person.
"Here are lots of different energies around here aside from Spirit Energy...different beings with different abilities. It is fascinating to see." Saito said then noticed Miki coming back with our drinks. Miki set them on the table and took out her notepad and pen.
"Are you all ready to order?" Miki asked.
"I'll have the Nyacular Omelette." Orishi said.
"M-Mmph...I want...waffles." Liao said slowly to make sure she didn't stutter on her words.
"I would like the Neko Neko Pancakes." I smiled.
"Saito would like what she's having." Saito said pointing to me.
"Two Neko Neko Pancakes, a Nyacular Omelette, and the Kitty Waffles? Is that correct?" Miki asked as she wrote everything down.
"Yes." Orishi nodded.
"Right, your food will be ready shortly." Miki smiled then took the menus from us. She hurried off and hummed.
The door opens and Saito looked at the four women who entered the cafe. She scanned them and her eye beeped. Orishi looked at Saito.
"The targets. Naora Taguchi, Himeko Amaya, Ochiyo and Namiyo Yamataka." Saito said.
Orishi turned around then noticed Himeko looking at her then they glared at each other. I looked at them and sunk in my chair a bit and felt the tension rising a bit in the cafe. I could only think of the worst possible outcome.
