As he reached his floor, Bai Qi took another deep breath to calm down. Then, he pushed the door and walked out.
The anger on his face a while ago was no longer there. When he passed by his colleagues, Bai Qi would flash them a smile, pretending that everything was alright.
He walked past the nurse's station and halted when he heard someone call his name.
Turning around, Bai Qi saw that Nurse Tian was looking at him with a gentle smile.
"Nurse Tian, what is it?" Bai Qi asked. His expression turned serious as he thought that something had happened to one of his patients while he went away.
"Doctor Bai, someone came to find you just now," Nurse Tian said.
"Who is it?"
"It's Miss Zhang. Doctor Qi's niece."
His eyes lit up. Bai Qi started to look around but was disappointed when he could not see his little fairy. His heart sunk as he thought that perhaps, Zhang Li Xue had gone back after waiting for him for a while.
