Fu Chen walked Bai Xi XI to the ice cream shop. They ordered at the counter before walking further inside the shop to the spot they frequently sit down whenever they came to the ice cream shop.
Bai Xi Xi took a spoonful of her chocolate almond ice cream and smiled happily.
Meanwhile, Fu Chen sat across her while observing the look on her face. He seemed to notice that Bai Xi Xi would often be in a good mood when she ate her ice cream. He wondered if Bai Xi Xi loved ice cream very much.
Seeing that Bai Xi Xi was raising her head, Fu Chen quickly pretended to focus on his ice cream again.
"The last time when Xiao Tong suggested you treat them to some ice cream, why did you ask them to choose something else?" Bai Xi Xi asked.
Her question made him pause. But, Fu Chen quickly regained his composure.
